The Arizona Linguistics Circle is a graduate-student-run conference held every year since 2007 on the campus of the University of Arizona. Each year a different theme is chosen with the intent of fostering deeper investigation into a particular area of inquiry, but papers from all areas of linguistics are welcome. Our goal is to provide a welcoming yet constructive environment for linguistic inquiry and the dissemination of new and continuing linguistic research.
This year, we will have two special sessions:
- Middle Eastern languages
- Experimental linguistics
The program is now available. Click here and you will be directed to the program page!
Invited speakers:
Mark Aronoff, Stony Brook University
Al-Sayyid: A language blooms in the desert
Hagit Borer, University of Southern California

Natasha Warner, University of Arizona
