ALC Conference |
The third annual meeting of the Arizona Linguistics Circle will be held October 30 through November 1, 2009, on the University of Arizona campus.
The theme of this year's conference is 'Interfaces and Interactions in Linguistic Theories,' and as such, talks addressing subject matter at the interfaces between subdisciplines of linguistics are especially welcome.
This year, we will also hold a special session focusing on the interactions between Cognitive Science and Linguistics.

Eloise Jelinek, professor emerita of Linguistics at the University of Arizona, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on December 21st, 2007, after a long illness. A full obituary written by Heidi Harley and Dick Demers is available at the link below.
