About Luis A. Irizarry Figueroa

Third year Ph.D. student in the Linguistics Department I was born and raised in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and I completed my B.A in Philosophy in the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez with a minor in linguistics. My Philosophy Undergraduate Thesis explored Pico Della Mirándola's Oration on the Dignity of Man and which selected lines are attributed to his Kabalistic doctrine. My Undergraduate Thesis in linguistics explored "donkey sentences" with multiple quantifiers. Other than philosophy and lingusitics I enjoy reading novels and watching horror movies.
