Honors Alumni Legacy Grants: Thesis Support
Application Deadline: Rolling
Typically range from $300 to $1000. Students can get funds to support travel, payments to human subjects, equipment, supplies that are needed in their Honors thesis research. Honors Alumni Legacy Grants: Conference Travel
Application Deadline: Rolling
Typically range from $300 to $800. Students who are presenting research at conferences can get funds to support conference registration, travel, and hotels. Honors Alumni Legacy Grants: Professional Development
Application Deadline: Rolling
Students may request up to $400 to support professional development opportunities such as summer language institutes, test preparation courses, standardized test fees, application fees, travel to job/school interviews, professional clothing, travel to conferences at which they are not presenting, professional organization fees, and certification exam fees. Honors College Study Abroad Scholarship
Application Deadline: March 1 for Summer 2014, Fall 2014, and/or Academic Year 2014-15
Up to $1500. The amount is greater for year-long programs than for programs lasting a summer or semester. Preference is given to students going on Honors study abroad programs. Policies Regarding Honors College Funding
1. There is a $1500 cap on internship/study abroad/research grant funding per academic year (e.g., August 2013-August 2014).
2. There is a $1000 cap on travel grant/thesis funding per academic year.
