William Cotter in Babel - The Language Magazine

William Cotter, joint PhD student in Anthropology and Linguistics at the University of Arizona recently contributed a feature article to the February 2016 issue of Babel - The Language Magazine. Babel highlights linguistic research in an accessible format for general audiences. Cotter's article uses Palestinian Arabic as a case study for examining the effect of political conflict on language change and stems from his ongoing research on Arabic dialect contact in the Gaza Strip and northern Jordan.
