In the Fall of 2012 and 2014, the Department of Linguistics presented lectures to members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). OLLI is a vibrant learning community for adults age 50 and beyond, offering university-quality courses, professional education, personal enrichment, certificate programs, and customized programs. After very successful presentations in Fall 2012, our department was invited to offer another set of lectures to members of OLLI in Fall 2014. Ten faculty members and five graduate students delivered lectures on various topics to this group.
