About Gabriela De la Cruz-Sánchez

I am currently doing a PhD in Linguistics with a major in language documentation and phonology. My research focuses on SLAT, semantics at the NP level, sociolinguistics, phonology and toponyms. 
 
I have done a bit of touristic enterprises. I have been an instructor since 2009, in person and online at different levels, from primary (7 years old) to college. Most of my professional career has been done in college as an instructor and researcher. 
I speak English (C1 level), Spanish (native speaker), French (DELF B2) and have good knowledge of Otomi, a Mexican language. I have done studies in Mexico, France and USA. 
 
I like game boards, hiking, outdoor activities, baking, playing the violin and pets, specially small dogs and cats.

I have done research that focus on borrowings, degrees of adjectives, vowels and currently a grammar sketch with special attention to  lexicography and toponyms in Otomi.
