Linguistics at the USA Science and Engineering Festival

Professor Cecile McKee, graduate student Elly Zimmer, undergraduates Marg Beltran and Joe McDonough, and high school student Nikolis Atkinson were honored by an invitation to be part of the National Science's Foundation's pavilion at the USA Science and Engineering Festival. The festival saw 340,000 visitors, about 3000 of whom stopped by the linguistics exhibit. This exhibit was the only one from the state of Arizona and the only one representing social/behavioral sciences in NSF's pavilion. The YouTube video linked here samples the exhibit.
