PsyCoL Lab research on Maltese to be featured at 2015 LSA Annual Meeting

Oct. 8, 2014

The PsyCoL Lab in the Department of Linguistics is going to Portland! Our most recent work on Maltese investigates the status of word patterns, and this work suggests that contrary to the standard view of Semitic, Maltese word patterns are phonological in nature. This talk represents joint work with lead author Adam Ussishkin, and PsyCoL members Andy Wedel and Samantha Wray as co-authors along with Luke Galea from the University of Cologne. This LSA talk will take place at the Portland Hilton on Sunday, January 11 at 9 am. More information can be found at http://www.linguisticsociety.org/abstract/phonological-status-maltese-w…
