Robert Henderson was in Japan the week of November 15th. He gave an invited talk at the 12th Logic and Engineering Natural Language Semantics conference held at Ochanomizu University in Tokyo. He spoke on "Pluractional Demonstrations", which combines his reasearch on pluractionality with new work in the semantics of ideophones. On the 21st of November, he traveled to Kyoto to give a talk on expressive meaning at Kyoto University as part of the ``Establishment of Knowledge-Intensive Structural Natural Language Processing and Construction of Knowledge Infrastructure'' project hosted there. As you can see in the photo below, Robert (on the far right), also ate too much extremely good Japanese food.
