Science City at the Tucson Festival of Books

The Linguistics table at the Tucson Festival of Books gave lots of people an experience with language and speech, and we all had a lot of fun! We used the ultrasound to show people how their tongues move, let poeple do linguistics puzzles, and made them nametags of the waveform of them saying their name. We talked to people from ages 2 - 75! These photos are from just a few hours, but many people staffed the table through the whole weekend.
