Undergraduates try their hand at ultrasound imaging

Last week, PhD student Sam Johnston attended Diane Ohala's Intro to Linguistics (LING201) course and demonstrated how ultrasound can be used to investigate phonetic/phonological aspects of the articulators. Students then got to apply their knowledge to themselves, looking at their tongues in action.
