Sumi Lee

Sumi is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Linguistics minoring in Cognitive Science, also enrolled in the Human Language Technology M.S. program. She aims to contribute to research projects related to autism spectrum disorder and Fragile X Syndrome by leveraging her knowledge in linguistics. Her research interests span from gesture production to speech analysis to natural language processing. She recently started enjoying coding mainly because she loves the colorful fonts in her programming environment. Outside of academia she loves music, good food and long road trips.
