About Andrew Zupon
My two main areas of research are syntax and computational linguistics.
In the area of syntax, I am interested in the interactions between case and agreement crosslinguistically, as well as how these interact with word order.
In the area of computational linguistics, I am interested in developing and using computational resources for under-resourced and endangered languages.
Broad phenomenal interests: Quirky case, V2 word order, case and agreement generally, word orders generally, ergativity, third-factor, under-resourced/endangered languages
V2 languages of interest: Icelandic, Faroese, Kashmiri, Breton, Tohono O'odham, Ingush
Quirky case languages of interest: Icelandic, Faroese, Spanish
Other languages of interest: languages of the Caucasus, Celtic languages, Tungusic languages
