Linguistics Summer Camp 2015

The University of Arizona Department of Linguistics hosted a summer camp entitled "The Science of Language" from June 1-5, 2015.

Language is an integral part of life. In linguistics, we study language scientifically in order to understand the physical, cognitive, neurological and psychological properties of human language. Students developed their analytical skills, learned about the scientific method and hypothesis testing, brain imaging, improved SAT vocabulary skills, and discovered the linguistic and cultural history of Arizona.
