ASR workshop at TOCC

Members of the Advancing Indigenous Language Technologies team (https://ailt.arizona.edu) and representatives from the language programs of the Tohono O'odham and Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Communities  conducted a five-day workshop on development of automatic speech recognition systems for the O'odham and Piipash languages.  UA alumn Dr. Rolando Coto of Dartmouth College lead the workshop.  The workshop was hosted by the O'odham Ñiokĭ Ki: and supported by NSF Award BCS-2347147.
