2023 Tinker Field Research Grant Awardee

Some great news for our department! We'd like to congratulate Jesús Gonzalez Franco, one of our Ling PhD students, who won a 2023 Tinker Field Research Grant from the University of Arizona's Center for Latin American Studies. It will support his dissertation fieldwork on Santa Ana Zegache Zapotec! For more information on the region and the language here's a place to start:
