UA Alumnus Megan Figueroa, with her collaborator Carrie Gillon, creates a wonderful podcast on languages and racism, sexism, classism, etc. They recently had the chance to interview Dr. Geneva Smitherman about her book "My Soul Look Back in Wonder", a collection of narrative essays about her races, gender, class, and linguistic consciousness as a member of the Black Power Generation of the 1960s and 70s.
