Dr. Adam Ussishkin worked for two weeks at the University of Malta in a collaboration with one of our former PhD students, Dr. Samantha Wray who currently works at Dartmouth, and Dr. Jessica Nieder, who works at the University of Malta. They are running the first EEG study on Maltese language processing, investigating the role of morphological structure using Dr. Ussishkin's auditory masked priming paradigm. In the photo shown you can see Dr. Ussishkin as well as one of their participants during the study - the monitor next to Dr. Ussishkin is displaying live, real-time EEG waves generated by the sensor cap worn by the participant in the Faraday cage experiment booth.
