Taleghani Lecture

On March 24th, 2023 the Linguistics Department hosted the 12th annual Taleghani Lecture. The talk was titled "Iran in Permanent Crises", and was given by distinguished historian Dr.  Ervand Abrahamian. Congratulations to Simin Karimi for all her hard work over the last 12 years of lectures on Iranian Studies. It has only enriched the department and the university for the better.Another set of congratulations is in order for our own graduate students Saman Meihami and John Powell for winning research grants through the Taleghani Foundation, and a further congratulations to Dr. Roya Kabiri on winning the outstanding dissertation award!
